Who is Crystal?

hmmm...how to begin. I am Female, was born in 1971, a Technical Writer, White, Middle Class, Blond, Blue Eyed, Near Sighted, Well Read, Far Traveled... Labels, I'm not sure how much they or I can objectively say.

Well, lets try again. I have a B.A. in English/French Literature with Honors from UC Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!), a Technical Writing Certificate from S.F. State, Small Feet, a great many books, curiosity...

I make obscure jokes and sometimes they are funny.

I often become obsessively interested in various subjects: history, books, whatever. Always have. Always will.

I like character driven stories. Romances, Science Fiction, History, Fantasy, Mystery, Myths, Fairytales, Biographies. I guess I'm a genre reader.

My favorite t.v. show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The writing is crisp and sharp. Actions have consequences and characters actually evolve over the course of the show.

I love to dance. Ballroom, modern, whatever. Favorite dance songs: Congress of Vienna Waltz (because its pretty) and Danse Macabre (because it's a strip the gears, suck the marrow out of the bones of life waltz/polka/tango thing).

I like to sew and I hate cooking. Go figure.

Oh, and I have way too much energy.
