08_06_09 Kamloops to Jasper --

We quickly made our way past the tree line. Which... okay I may have done that as a wee hiker, but not in recent memory. I'm not a skier. I don't really go to the mountains much, I'm an ancient ruins kinda girl. Most ruins do not get built where trees don't grow. So climbing past the trees was an express into an alien landscape. We did that alot on this trip. Constanstly switching landscapes. Traversing completely different terrains. Keep in mind, that morning, we were in a desert.
