NYC_09_11_09_day_7 -- Given the on again off again downpour, I decided to take the bus rather than keep walking. Spent a lovely hour going down city streets toward downtown. Through more neighborhood than I could have on my own. Children pretending pencils were swords. Readers quietly at their Kindles, books, magazines. Cell phones chattering. It's being still and moving the way that a bus is.
