Mamma Mia night was a lot of fun, even sitting in the highest balcony row but
one.
It was colorful, fast-paced, and chock full of happy nostalgia. We weren't
really up on our ABBA, but the songs we knew had heads bobbing.
Although, personally, I'm glad I don't really remember the time period in
question, but we got some great ideas for our space cadet costumes (to be
mingled with other ideas/periods some time later).
4.24.04
It was excellent - one of the best Gaskell's that I've been to
in a long time. This was due in part to my very good mood. I was high on life. I
flirted, I giggled, hell, I even sang at one point. I danced and danced and
danced and damn did it feel good after weeks of no dancing due to my stupid knee
and illness. The other part of the fun was a light crowd which still managed to
include all my favorite people and the band not playing any funky tricks on the
dancers. Yeah, it rocked.
