flavors, with a touch of cream, really yummy. For a moment it makes you
think sugary sweet, but actually quite dry on the palate.
2000 Il Circo: Uva di
Toia “La Violetta”
Full, rich body, round with
a touch of licorice. Great with lamb.
2000 Charbono “La Farfalla”
Astonishingly rich fruit
with blackberry and more blackberry. Yummy and has real presence. Very
smooth, but not much staying power.
2000 Cardinal Zin
Wildly spicy, full bodied,
peppery with a nice long finish.
1998 Le Cigare Volant
Hot, but rather cool. Flavors
of licorice, smoked meat, and the cool dark earth. Soft, deep, velvety
and rich.
