Gaskells was once again a night of good solid dancing fun. Our friend
Alex flew down from Eugene, OR and after a stay on our couch, accompanied
us to the dance.
Brassworks was right on and the music was lively. There was a good sized
crowd, but nothing extravagant. I felt satisfied with the number of dances
that I danced. I mean hey, I danced both Congress of Vienna Waltz's, which
is a consummation devoutly to be wished.
Karen and
I did a fun Sir Roger de Coverly set dance with a group of utter newbies,
which had its own fun.
The Stanford dance society put on a couple of demonstration waltzes
during a break and a good time was had by all.
